I work with teens and adults struggling with trauma-related symptoms, depression, anxiety, social anxiety, grief, life transitions and those interested in making healthy lifestyle changes. I believe change is possible when people feel safe to explore their values, hopes, dreams, commitments, and purpose, as well as their disappointments and hurts.
My aim is to help you "slow down," encourage reflection and insight, and the development of healthy coping strategies to create sustainable change in your life. My stance is curious and flexible reflecting my belief that my clients are the experts on their lives. I’m a Master’s level therapist and have been working with clients for more than 12 years. I have comprehensive training and experience evaluating and treating anxiety, depression and other mood disorders, as well as Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. I utilize a variety of approaches including cognitive behavioral strategies, mindfulness and EMDR. I love the work of helping people to develop more trusting, loving, and creative relationships with themselves. It takes tremendous courage to reach out and to be truly seen. It would be an honor to have the opportunity to connect with you.
