I view counseling as fundamentally hopeful work, and coming to therapy is a brave choice. My hope for you is that through our work together you will gain self-understanding and feel empowered to live a value-driven life and to be the person you want to be in the world.
I work from a Person-Centered framework, while integrating elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Polyvagal Theory, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing to tailor counseling to your individual needs. My approach to therapy is collaborative because I believe you are the expert on your life. As a counselor, I strive to provide a warm, empathetic, and non-judgemental environment, and together, we can explore your story and your goals. In my clinical practice, I work primarily with individual adults and help people address concerns related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, body image, trauma, and life transitions.
As Administrative Assistant, I enjoyed working behind the scenes to support WSky’s Billing Administrator and Scheduling Manager while I completed my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Additionally, my background in fine art helped me to learn the value of vulnerability, connection, and exploration. I am honored and humbled by my clients’ insight and resilience, and it is a privilege to walk alongside you on your journey towards growth and healing.
