I believe in the power of collaboration to create lasting, positive change in client’s lives. I operate from a client-centered approach and use emotionally focused therapy to restructure the rigid patterns we naturally form based on lived experience. I believe clients are the experts of their lives and have inherent strengths which will support them in achieving their therapeutic goals. I strive to create a safe and empathetic environment where individuals, couples, and families feel secure exploring emotions, addressing challenges, and growing. I work within a systems theory framework which emphasizes client context and the impact of interactions in relationships and environments.
I primarily use Emotionally Focused Therapy and Solutions Focused Therapy and enjoy integrating various creative and expressive art therapies when appropriate. I have experience working with children and adolescents, adult individuals, and multiple forms of relational systems such as couples and families. Together we will form applicable goals and work toward holistic healing.
In my free time I find joy in spending time with my friends and pets, riding my electric scooter, playing video games, or reading.
