I believe that when we understand ourselves better, we give ourselves permission to be better. Engaging in therapy is an innately hopeful act. As your counselor, I view my role as a source of support and grounded perspective as my clients pursue healing, wellness, and growth on your own terms. My background is primarily in cognitive therapy, narrative therapy, and humanistic therapy. In session we will explore what is important to you, and we will collaborate to meet your needs and goals. I take a holistic, client-centered approach to the therapeutic process. I want every person I work with to know they can count on compassion and understanding during whatever part of their journey they share with me. I believe that trust, authenticity, and non-judgment must be at the foundation of any work I do with clients. With those fundamentals established, we create the potential for discovery and transformation that can carry forward into richer, more fulfilling lives.
