Professional Counselor Associate
I VIEW THERAPY AS A COLLABORATIVE PROCESS DESIGNED TO ADDRESS THE UNIQUE NEEDS OF THE INDIVIDUAL. IDENTIFYING YOUR PERSONAL STRENGTHS IS KEY TO SETTING AND ACHIEVING MEANINGFUL GOALS WHILE FOSTERING A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING OF SELF.
AREA OF FOCUS
I work with clients across the lifespan, starting at age 8, addressing a range of issues including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, societal disillusionment, existential concerns, and interpersonal conflict. Telehealth sessions are available for clients aged 14 and over.
COUNSELING TECHNIQUES
My therapeutic approach draws on individual life experiences to foster self-exploration, curiosity, and a deeper search for meaning. I incorporate interventions such as Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family systems, existentialist, and art-based techniques.
EDUCATION CREDENTIALS
I earned my B.S. in Sociology at University of Oregon. I earned my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bushnell University. I am an Oregon Registered Professional Counselor Associate, R10149. I am supervised by Janine McGraw, a Licensed Professional Counselor, C4284, Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists.
