Maria
Professional Counselor Associate
I view therapy as a collaborative process designed to address the unique needs of the individual. Identifying personal strengths is key to setting and achieving meaningful goals while fostering a deeper understanding of oneself.
I work with clients across the lifespan, starting at age 8, addressing a range of issues including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, societal disillusionment, existential concerns, and interpersonal conflict. Telehealth sessions are available for clients aged 14 and over. My therapeutic approach draws on individual life experiences to foster self-exploration, curiosity, and a deeper search for meaning. I incorporate interventions such as Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family systems, existentialist, and art-based techniques. Qualifications:
