As a counselor, I believe you are the expert of your own story and know your needs best. My role is to support and facilitate positive changes in your life through a compassionate, non-judgmental space where we can work together to achieve your goals. I focus on how emotions shape your life and thought processes, and I am committed to helping you navigate potential changes while honoring your unique strengths and resiliency.
I specialize in working with clients dealing with eating disorders, body image concerns, anxiety, and depression. My goal is to provide a safe, inclusive space where you can explore who you are and who you want to become, using a holistic, individualized approach that integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Emotion-Focused Therapy.
In my practice, I embrace the principles of Health at Every Size (HAES), which emphasizes body respect, well-being, and acceptance for all bodies, regardless of size. I believe that every individual deserves to feel safe, valued, and empowered in their journey toward self-discovery and growth. I hold a master's degree in professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis and Clark College and a bachelor's degree in Body Image Studies from Cornell College.
