Beginning therapy takes bravery. I deeply admire the courage, vulnerability, and intention for personal growth involved in seeking counseling. As your therapist I aspire to provide a warm, trusting, and inclusive therapeutic environment where you feel empowered. Together we will collaborate in the creation of goals that reflect your personal values, interests, and needs.
I believe every individual holds inherent worth and meaningful strengths, which I'll strive to recognize and nurture through our work together. I am passionate about supporting clients as they gently explore and embrace mind–body attunement, sense of meaning, and their guiding principles in pursuit of a fulfilling life. My approach is grounded in Person-Centered Theory, emphasizing empathy, authenticity, and the understanding that the client is the expert of their own life. I also integrate elements of Polyvagal Theory, Attachment Theory, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to thoughtfully tailor counseling to each client’s unique concerns. I enjoy working with individual adults, where I have experience addressing concerns related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, life transitions, and trauma. I also bring prior experience working with children and adolescents. I served as an ABA Therapist with children ages two to five and completed my counseling internship at Riverview Center for Growth (formerly The Child Center) while earning my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bushnell University. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Pre-Clinical Health Science from Portland State University, which informs my holistic and integrative perspective. Qualifications:
