I WORK TO PROVIDE A CONSISTENT AND COMPASSIONATE SPACE FOR CLIENTS TO MINDFULLY EXPLORE THE TRUTH OF WHO THEY ARE AND WHAT THEY WANT TO CREATE. AS WE FACE CHALLENGES, LIFE CALLS US TO BRAVELY ACCEPT, ADJUST, STRETCH AND TRANSFORM WHO WE ARE. USING A HUMANISTIC APPROACH, I BELIEVE MY ROLE IS TO WITNESS, ENCOURAGE AND EMPOWER CLIENTS IN DISCOVERING THE EMERGING PARTS OF THEMSELVES AS WELL AS THE PARTS THAT MAY NO LONGER SERVE A PURPOSE. INTEGRATING MINDFULNESS PRACTICES THAT UTILIZE THE BODY-
MIND CONNECTION, CLIENTS WILL DEVELOP GREATER AWARENESS AND IDENTIFY THE TOOLS NEEDED TO CREATE CHANGE.

COUNSELING TECHNIQUES
As a somatic counseling trained therapist my clients will be encouraged to include mindfulness and awareness of their somatic experience (in the body), supporting the mind-body connection in the therapeutic process. Often implementing parts work, I
believe that all of our parts, even our inner critics, strive toward resolution and when given the opportunity to be heard, can be integrated with compassion. It is when we acknowledge our authentic selves that effective and lasting skills can be built to
navigate life’s journey.

My previous professional life took place in the travel startup space, working as a global trainer in customer service. As the industry required a major pivot during the pandemic, I embraced the opportunity to pursue a career in counseling. Becoming a therapist was a role I had trained for in my past and later recognized I had accumulated the life

I earned my Master of Counseling Psychology: Dance Movement Therapy, Naropa University Boulder, CO in 2006). I am an Oregon Licensed Professional Counselor C49828, Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists.
