Choosing to engage in therapy is a positive and hopeful act. I hope that I can join you on your path to improve the areas of your life that you might find challenging or prevent you from reaching your full potential. My goal is to collaborate with you to support your growth and to uncover new ways of experiencing and being in the world.
My work is grounded in humanistic and client centered theory with a belief that we all possess an innate drive to become better versions of ourselves. I enjoy building a warm, accepting environment where you can feel accepted and able to focus on your development without fear of judgement. I am inspired and energized by exploring client’s strengths and areas of resilience. In addition to building a foundational therapeutic relationship with clients, I draw on elements of Dialectical Behavioral Theory (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Theory (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) to meet your individual needs. Most of my work is done with adults and emerging adults who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, and relationship concerns. Qualifications:
