Life can be incredibly difficult, and it is easy (and understandable!) to feel overwhelmed. My role is to support clients in effectively navigating life’s obstacles and increasing overall contentment by learning to identify and meet their needs, increasing self-awareness, improving emotional literacy and communication, and strengthening connection to oneself and others. Through our work together, clients learn to recognize and cultivate practices, resources, and relationships that can contribute to their growth and sense of well-being. In the therapy room, I provide a culturally thoughtful environment that supports the whole person using an approach that is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and validating. My therapy style is rooted in systemic theory which recognizes that people are beautifully complex and part of many different systems, all of which influence our emotions, thoughts, and beliefs. Therapy is a place to find compassion and comfort as well as fill your emotional wellness toolbox. Ultimately, my goal is to empower clients with skills, tools, and insights they can use to better their lives long after our work together is done.
