Philosophy and Approach: To me, therapy is a space for growth. This growth process involves a deeper understanding of yourself, your environment and your current and past relationships. We will explore areas where you may feel stuck or want to create change and will work together to identify what achieving your goals looks like. I believe problems dissolve as we develop more self-awareness and alignment within ourselves and our relationships. We will dive into your values, and work towards aligning them with your visions. Theoretically, I am grounded in systems theory and operate from a lens of internal family systems and emotionally focused therapy, specifically focused on developing coping skills, understanding attachment relationships and exploring parts of yourself and the corresponding emotions. As a certified yoga instructor, I bring mindfulness and an embodied focus to my work as well. I strive to meet each client with where they are with a warm, compassionate, direct and practical approach.
